T-Shirt Design

Timber Ridge Camp, a youth summer camp, asked me to design a t-shirt based on a tree and lungs.

I had a lot of fun with this one.

I decided to make a few variations:

Making Cards

My mom and I like to get together every so often to make cards; usually around Christmastime, but we decided to make some for my husband's and dad's birthdays, as well as some for mother's day.
It's always fun and pretty addicting.

I didn't have a lot of ideas on portraying "dust," so I typed it into Google and I got Dusty Springfield...(whose song, "I only wanna be with you," I've secretly loved since forever!).

So, here she is, with her iconic peroxide beehive and raccoon-eyes.

Figure Drawing Class

I took a figure drawing class from Prf. Earl Snellenberger at Herron this past semester. 

Here are several of the pieces we made in class:

For this one, we chose a previous drawing and used scraped charcoal over cut-out paper.

The final project was to take one of our previous drawings and run with it.

We did a pre-instructional set of poses at the very beginning of the class, then on the last couple of days, we did them again to compare our progress.

The Indiana Discount Mall decided to go with this option. 

Now to narrow down to the smaller detail options.

Indiana Discount Mall is starting up a Night Club (discoteca) and wanted a logo that would appeal to their audience.
