29 Faces: Face 12

I got a little behind on the 29 faces challenge. I was only able to work on this one a little bit each day over the last few days. Watercolor.

I kept a line drawing because I think I want to paint another version later on. I initially had the watercolor on a white background, but decided to add the darker background to bring the face more into focus.

29 Faces: Face 11

Drawn upside down looking at an upside down image.

29 Faces: Face 10

I didn't do any research on the Primacolor Art Stix so I was expecting them to behave like pastels as opposed to just thick colored pencils...I was a little disappointed as that was the look I was hoping for with this one. At least if forced me to work with a more chunky medium. She came out looking too old...maybe it's the same girl, only 20 years later ;)

29 Faces: Face 9

My sister-in-law sent me a weird crayon pencil with multiple colors from Germany. I haven't really known how to use it. I decided to draw a quick face with a continuous line.

29 Faces: Face #8

29 Faces: Day 2

I got started a little late today on the challenge. I decided to try something different. I painted my Goddaughter using coffee. After I got started I wished I had used watercolor paper....next time.

29 Faces: Day 1b

I was able to finish my drawing for our 29 Faces Challenge. Decided to draw Harriet Tubman because I saw her featured on Google and was re-inspired by her story.

29 Faces: Day 1

After a bit of a hiauts, I've decided to get back into the 29 Faces challenge. For now I'll post a drawing I made a few days ago. I plan to create another tonight.

I was trying out my new brush tip marker with this one.
